FIREPROOF PAINT
Spray Foam insulation requires a 15 minute fire barrier in front of it (gypsum board) if you have an area you would like to spray foam, but would like to leave it exposed. We provide dc315 fireproof paint. All of our installers are licensed and certified by International Fireproof Technology Inc.

A high quality open-cell spray foam made from renewable natural oils. A foam with a density of three quarters of a pound, Agribalance provides insulation with a higher R-value than other open-cell insulations and has better airtightness performance.

DC315 Fireproof Paint for alternative Thermal and Ignition Barrier for Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF)
DC315 Fireproof Paint is a fully tested and approved intumescent coating to meet 15-minute alternative Thermal Barrier and Ignition Barrier protection over Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF). DC315 meets IBC/IRC codes in the USA, Canadian NBCC and many international Building Code Requirements.
Building Code Fire Performance Requirements for SPF: The International Building Code (IBC) mandates that SPF be separated from the interior of the building by a 15-minute thermal barrier, or other approved covering. DC315 Carries ICC-ESR 3702 Evaluation Report confirming that DC315 meets IBC and IRC Code Requirements. DC315 has also been tested as an ignition barrier under AC 377 Appendix X.
